By now it must be clear that I don’t intend to use this space as an excuse to inundate you with emails or blog posts every day. I want this newsletter to be dedicated to genuine updates and news on the company. So, when there is something noteworthy to share I’ll do so, which is the case today!
The next major step is to receive the prototypes, which I’m hopeful will arrive in the next 2 weeks or so. The timeline has been difficult to rein in throughout this journey, so I’m reticent to provide more certainty than that. At a recent event in Chicago, I was reassured by colleagues that working with Swiss companies is tedious and time-consuming. Personal timelines only get you so far. There’s not much any of us in the industry can do in terms of cost and timeline when it comes to building a fully Swiss-made watch. The reputation of a Swiss-made watch is based upon quality, not speed.
However, there is a LUM (watch pun!) at the end of the tunnel! I’ve begun receiving a few pictures of pieces that have arrived for assembly, which you’ll find below. The straps have been shared on social media, but this is the first time I’ve shared the buckle. Rest assured, once there are pictures of the full prototypes to share, this mailing list will be the first to see them. The same applies once the production order is placed and the watches are available for pre-order. So, if you know of anyone who would like to be at the front of the line, send them to endatto.com to get signed up!
I’m hoping to host a product release event at some point early next year, so keep an eye out for that newsletter in the future! More to come as we close in on the full launch and thanks again for all of the support!
